La Stella in Duisburg

One of the best Italians in Duisburg, unfortunately not cheap, but worth every euro.

Was very good this ... I really liked the doner kebab with veal ... you can trust me

I agree with the reviews of the other visitors: friendly, good food, good wine. BUT a very weak hygiene concept: the restaurant was overcrowded, distances could not be kept, poor or no ventilation, names and addresses were not noted. In retrospect, I have a really bad feeling. Hopefully we'll stay healthy. Therefore only one star for La Stella.

Super great place, we will definitely come back more often! Everything is lovingly arranged and tastes great! There are no long waiting times between courses and the service is top :-)

Really good Italian. I had octopus and it was delicious all in all. Something different if you don't just want pizza. They also responded really well to special requests for the children.

The food is good, but the service as much as possible that such a restaurant should have. You have to wait half an hour for drinks.

La Stella is a really recommendable restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The food is super delicious and the price-performance ratio is more than satisfactory, as you can get good quality food for little money. The size of the portions is also reasonable, the dessert is definitely recommended and a must when visiting the restaurant. The service is very courteous and friendly! There is really nothing to complain about, gladly again at any time. If you want to be on the safe side, you should reserve a place, as it is well attended even during the week.

The mash had some weird condiments in, the greens were so salty they would have floated on water and my steak was tasteless and left a pool of water in my plate. Oh...and nobody speaks English, so in case you do not speak German, go somewhere else

We were with family to eat. Very friendly service, no long wait between the appetizer and main course. The food was delicious, I would always order from the restaurant, because it is delicious. The dessert was delicious, I would recommend everything. And the price-performance ratio is also right.

The food at La Stella has always been up to the highest standards. Especially dishes with truffles are highly recommended. Two star deduction is available for the waitress. I understand that you generally get big drinks outside on the terrace. But after starter, main course and dessert it would not be too much to get a small drink. This should be, if you then invite the customer to a nightcap and the daughter to offer a coke. I know that this is usually not done, but would have very fine features of a great service. Should only be a small food for thought. I will come here again.

The reason 4 stars and not 5 was that the first course plates were not taken away.when the main course arrived.we ended up giving them our plates. Other wise PRESENTION . FOOD AND SERVICE NO. COMPLAINTS.ON ANOTHER ISSUE!!! .AS I WAS TREATING MY SON AND HIS GIRLFRIEND AND PAYING . AND VISITING THEM FROM U.K. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT VISA CARDS .ONLY E.C. WHCH WE WERE UNAWARE OF . !!! And i do not have.xxx

The best in Duisburg, excellent Italian cuisine, friendly and nice owners. All very good from the beginning to coffee. Price adapted to the quality of the dishes.

We were at La Stella for the first time yesterday and it was a really great visit. First we were shown the recommendations of the kitchen. We took an antipasti plate as a starter. There was everything your heart desires on it (carpaccio, vitello tonato, buffalo mozzarella with honey etc.) For the main course we decided on three pasta dishes. And what should I say? All were cooked to perfection. The noodles on point and the sauces creamy and delicious! There was also a reduced children's portion for our child. The aperitif was on the house (the grappa was awesome!) And there was also an ice cream and toy car on the house for the child! All in all, one of the best dining out recently. We will definitely be back!
